Ultrasound diagnostics

Ultrasound diagnosis (sonography) is a non-invasive examination of the human body with the help of ultrasonic waves, provides an opportunity to assess the presence, size, structure, homogeneity of focal and diffuse changes.

In out institution one can pass the ultrasound examination of the following organs:
  • liver, gallbladder without function definition
  • pancreas
  • spleen
  • kidney and adrenal glands
  • bladder
  • prostate gland
  • mammary glands with lymphatic surface nodes
  • pelvic organs: uterus with appendages and bladder (transabdominal)
  • thyroid gland with lymphatic surface nodes
  • heart (echocardiography)
  • brachycephalic vessels
  • vessels of the upper and lower extremities
  • joints (paired and unpaired)
